Verifying Your Email Address

Upon signing up, all newly registered email addresses must be validated first before having access to the platform. An email containing a link will be sent, which is valid for 24 hours. You must click the link within this time frame and it will automatically validate your email address and log you into the platform.

If you encounter the prompt, please message us directly at support@simplywallst.com using the same email address used in your account or use this form to contact us.

Login Method

Your login method depends on what type of registration you chose when you created your Simply Wall St account.

  1. Social Login. Utilizes credentials from your social media accounts (e.g., Google, Facebook, Apple) for login.
  2. Local Login (also known as Email Login). This method involves using your provided email address and assigned password for login.

Changing Login Method

How to reset your password and recover your account

Note: You can only set a new password if your login method is a local email login (using email address and password)

If you created your account using Google or Facebook, this process will send a link to our login page to access your account. You do not have a password when you log in with Google, Apple, or Facebook. If you want to use a password instead, you must first convert to a local email login by following the instructions here.

  1. Go to https://simplywall.st/account-recovery
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account then click the Continue button.
    image-20240523-110427.png

  3. Go to your Inbox and check for the email, you may need to look in ‘Updates’, ‘Spam’, or ‘Clutter’. The email has the subject “Reset your Simply Wall St Password” and is from “no-reply@t.simplywall.st”. The link will expire after 2 hours so you will need to reset a new one if this is the case. Also, account created using social login has different email format to give you a better hint of how you should be logging into your account.

    1. If your account was created using a local email, the email you receive will look like this:

      Screenshot 2024-06-06 at 7.41.15 PM 2 2-20240606-114215.png

      Apple Login

For accounts created through Apple Login, when you initially signed up Apple created a relay email address that hides your actual email address. Hence when requesting a password reset, make sure to toggle enable the email forwarder of the relay email created by Apple so you may receive the password reset email.

      To do this,

      1. Go to Settings > Apple ID
      2. Proceed to Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple
      3. Look for Simply Wall St and then toggle enable the Forward to option as shown in the screenshot below.
